Artists wanted!
Lafayette Cultural Resources is calling for sculpture submissions for
the 2015 Art on the Street Sculpture Walk. This program provides
artists nationwide the opportunity to showcase their work in this
creative, diverse and eclectic community.
Art on the Street,
in its seventh year, is the largest sculpture on loan program in
Boulder County. Each year, at least one sculpture has been
purchased by the city or a private buyer. Selected sculptures will
be on display outdoors for one year. Artists’ submissions are due
November 2, 2014. Sixteen works will be selected; artists will
each receive a $500 stipend upon installation. All sculptures are
for sale in this outdoor art display. There is also a $1000
people’s choice award.
